Two teenagers have been arrested in Burnham-On-Sea following a dramatic police chase along the town’s seafront on Monday (April 12th).
Officers were called to The Esplanade to pursue the two teenage boys, who were suspected of being linked to the theft of a car from a local holiday site.
“They gave chase after a car was taken from Lakeside Holiday Park and were followed along the seafront by officers,” Inspector Roger Tolley told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“With the help of CCTV cameras, we caught up with them at Burnham Sailing Club.”
The boys, aged 16 and from Highbridge, were held in custody by police.
