Burnham residents deliver a Royal cash boost to Sea Cadets

-

A group of Burnham-On-Sea residents has this week delivered a cash boost to the town’s Sea Cadets.

Residents of Worston Lane handed over £100 to the group on Monday evening (February 6th) after finding they had some funds left over from their Royal street party last year.

Since the Sea Cadets had given a display at the event, they decided to donate £100 to Burnham’s Sea Cadets Unit, TS Dulverton.

Organiser Tanya Dyer told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had so much fun organising the party last year. The children had mugs and free games and competitions. We are now planning something for the Jubilee this year but with a wider catchment, possibly on Cassis Close playing fields, on Bank Holiday Monday.”
