Burnham-On-Sea Scouts raised £750 towards the replacement of their HQ’s roof during a fundraising Christmas fair on Saturday (December 13th).
Crowds of supporters attended the event at the Scout hut at the BASC Ground to enjoy a range of fun festive games and stalls.
Scouts Chairperson Sarah Rendell said: “We are very pleased to have raised £750 which a super amount. It was a lovely atmosphere and this is one of many fundraising events throughout the coming year.”
Burnham Scouts are seeking to raise £20,000 for a new roof for their building, and have raised about a quarter of the total amount so far.
