Burnham-On-Sea Scouts raised over £600 when they held their popular Easter Fayre at the weekend.
Stalls and games were set up around the Scout HQ for Saurday’s event at Burnham-On-Sea’s BASC Ground, where an Easter egg hunt also took place.
Chairperson Becky Bull told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We raised £602.33 which is an amazing achievement.”
“We would like to thank all our parents, friends, leaders and Committee members for donating items, buying raffle tickets and especially for turning up and making the event a real success.”
“Also, a special thank you goes to the Scouts who ran the games on the day as well as making the Easter biscuits!”
The group will be having its AGM on 19th May and as it’s the same day as the Royal Wedding there will be a street party themed event.
