A new women’s clothing boutique that aims to “bring fashion and flare to Burnham-On-Sea” is set to open its doors in the town this week.
Scarlet Boutique at 5 Victoria Street will officially open on Tuesday morning (July 8th) and will sell a wide range of womens’ clothing and accessories.
The owners, Sandra and Peter Sage (pictured), are the former landlords of the Scarlet Pimpernel in West Huntspill and it is this background that lies behind their choice of name for the new business.
Sandra told Burnham-On-Sea.com she wanted a fresh challenge and, recognising a gap in the market, decided to open the shop in the centre of Burnham.
“We are both delighted to be opening such an exciting venture that will bring fashion and flare to Burnham,” she told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“The shop will sell a wide range of trendy ladies clothing and accessories sourced from across Europe and from as far afield as Russia.”
“We have something to suit every age and taste.”
She added that the store’s product range includes jewellery, handbags, dresses, jackets, tops and shirts.
The couple celebrated the opening with friends and business colleagues at a special function at the new shop during the weekend, as pictured above.
From July 8th, Scarlet Boutique will open Tuesdays through to Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
