Dozens of colourful scarecrows are on display in Brent Knoll this weekend during the village’s annual scarecrow festival.
More than 40 scarecrows are on show alongside roads, gardens and paths in the village.
The festival – which is being held for Girlguiding Brent Knoll – started on Saturday 24th September and continues of Sunday 25th September.
“This is always a very creative event which involves residents and visitors alike, with 40 scarecrows to locate,” said a spokeswoman.
A Scarecrow Trail sheet is available to buy from the School Office and the Village Stores and costs £1. Completed Trail sheets will go into a prize draw, the winner of which will win £25.
All the scarecrows will be on display between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Within these hours, refreshments will be on sale at the Village Hall.
