TV star Simon Cowell made a special appearance in Brent Knoll this weekend during the village’s annual scarecrow festival!
The personality is among many VIPs turned into straw characters during the popular third annual event in which more than 40 scarecrows are on show with the theme of ‘Music and Songs’ alongside roads through the village.
The festival started on Saturday and continues on Sunday September 28th from 10am-4pm.
Trail sheets and maps are available from members of Girlguiding Brent Knoll, Brent Knoll Post Office and Hair by Design.
They will also be available at Brent Knoll Parish Hall on both days, where refreshments will also be on offer.
“We hope lots of visitors will enjoy walking, cycling or driving around the village to find the scarecrows and play the scarecrow bingo trail,” said an organiser.
