Dozens of colourful scarecrows went on display in Brent Knoll at the weekend during the village’s popular annual scarecrow festival.
More than 50 scarecrows were on show with the theme of ‘historic heroes and villains’ alongside roads, gardens and paths in the village.
The festival – which was held in aid of Girlguiding Brent Knoll – attracted a steady flow of visitors.
Straw Wars from the Baker family, pictured on the right, won first place while second went to Tadpoles Pre-Schoool for their entry Ursula of The Sea, pictured below.
One of the organisers, Jane Sinnott, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It’s been a very busy weekend thanks to some super entries and fabulous weather. We’ve had our best festival to date and thank everyone who supported it.”
