Cast members from Weston Operatic Society commandeered the pirate ship in the children’s play area at Brent Knoll’s Sanders Garden World this week to promote their forthcoming production.
The crew of the musical ‘Guys & Dolls’, which takes place at The Playhouse Theatre in Weston in April, posed for publicity shots on the life-sized galleon and entertained visitors.
Peter Burks, General Manager of the garden centre, said: “We thought it would be interesting for customers to see actors from Guys & Dolls on our pirate ship. We have supported Weston Operatic Society for many years so we were more than happy for them to visit the garden centre to chat to people about their up-and-coming show.”
“We will also be donating floral wedding bouquets to the Society for the final scene of the musical.”
Guys & Dolls will be performed from Wednesday April 13th until Saturday April 16th. Tickets are available from the Theatre’s box office on 01934 645544.
