More than 320 Scouts, Beavers, Cubs and Explorers from across the area gathered on Burnham-On-Sea beach this week for a mass sandcastle building competition.
Youngsters from Burnham, Highbridge, Berrow, Cheddar, Bridgwater and Berrow were among the groups who took part in the 18th annual contest besides the jetty.
Dozens of entries were dug in the sand with a puddings and desserts theme at the event on Tuesday evening (June 5th).
The leaders said they were delighted with how the event had gone: “It was a fantastic evening with superb weather and a very good turnout. This event brings together our groups from across the district for a fun evening.”
