Brean Sand Yachting Club is set to hold its annual National Sand Yachting Regatta on Brean Beach next month.
The event will be held on March 10th and 11th March, with racing taking place at approximately 10am each day, depending on wind conditions.
Spokesman Patrick McKenna told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “30 to 40 yachts in a range of different classes will be participating and, as usual, there will be no spectator charge.”
The event will be for class 3, 5 and Standart land yachts and is open to all clubs. A practice day will be held on Friday March 9th ahead of the competition. Sailing is permitted from 12 noon, providing flags and signs are displayed on the beach.
