Four young Burnham Rugby Club players have been picking up tips and advice for how to improve their game from former England World Cup player Mark Regan.
The youngsters took part in a three-day rugby camp at Cheddar RFC when Mr Regan coached them on various aspects of the game.
“Over the three days, Mark coached the boys on passing, tackling, kicking, scrummaging, running and support,” Burnham Rugby Club’s Russell Dyson told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Two of the boys – George and Brandon – excelled and won the Player of the Day award by showing great promise and commitment during the training and games.”
He added that all the boys thoroughly enjoyed the camp and have come away with a greater understanding of the game.
