Burnham-On-Sea residents have been advised that rubbish and recycling will be collected on the two Saturdays and one Sunday over the festive period.
Kerbside collections are unchanged on Monday December 23rd, and Christmas Eve but will not take place on Christmas Day or Boxing Day – Thursday’s collections will be on Saturday December 28th, and Friday’s on the Sunday.
Collections will be as normal on Monday December 30th and New Year’s Eve but there will be no pick-ups on New Year’s Day, with the rest of the week a day later.
Kerbside recycling and refuse collections resume as usual from Monday January 7th.
Clinical and assisted waste collections follow the same pattern while garden waste pick-ups are suspended from Christmas Day and resume from Wednesday January 8th on usual days.
Highbridge Recycling Centre will close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
