Hundreds of people attended a fun day at Brent Knoll’s RSPCA animal centre on Sunday (September 7th).
The event in Brent Road attracted a steady flow of visitors throughout the day for a range of attractions and activities.
Bryan Moyse, Chairman of the RSPCA’s North Somerset branch, said: “We were very pleased with how it went – we had a great turnout throughout the day, helped by some superb weather.”
Along with obedience and agility displays, there were many attractions including games and face-painting and other family actitvities.
Visitors were also able to step into an ‘animal encounters’ area to learn all about a range of rescue animals, including ponies, greyhounds and llamas, plus several guests from Avon Owls and Prickles Hedgehog Rescue.
The fun day, which was held for a second year, will return next year, said a spokesman.
