St John’s Church in Highbridge will be marking the Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with a special Wedding Weekend from 18th-20th May.
Displays of wedding dresses, floral tributes with music and wedding traditions will be held over the two days.
And there will also be a special wedding-themed Songs of Praise during Sunday to keep the congregation in a celebratory mood.
The event starts on Friday 18th from 6pm – 9pm with drinks and nibbles; followed on Saturday 19th from 10am – 4pm.
On Sunday 20th, the church will be open from 11am – 5pm with a Wedding Songs of Praise taking place at 3pm followed by a cream tea at 3.45pm.
Tickets for the cream tea are available from the Church Office at £4 an adult or £1.50 a child, or turn up on the day.
