Royal surprise for Burnham-On-Sea youngsters as artwork gets sent to Queen

-

Excited children at a Burnham-On-Sea childminding service were surprised to receive letters from Buckingham Palace this week, thanking them for sending their Christmas cards to The Queen.

The youngsters at Little Acorns Childminding Service in Burnham’s Berrow Road designed a number of crafts and cards before Christmas that promoted British values and these were sent to Buckingham Palace.

The children have this month received treasured letters from Buckingham Palace, thanking them.

Little Acorns spokeswoman Stella Panteli said: “The children made lots of Christmas crafts to send home to their loved ones, along with letters to Santa, however we also decided to honour our Queen and monarchy.”

“Promoting British values, we decorated cards and sent them to Buckingham Palace. We were all so excited to receive a reply!”

“Each of the children have received an individual letter which they can take home and put away in a memory box.”

Little Acorns Childminding Service is an Ofsted registered childminding business catering for babies from birth.
