Royal Air Forces Association plaque unveiled on Burnham-On-Sea seafront

Town VIPs alongside the Royal Air Forces Association membersA brand new plaque has been unveiled on Burnham seafront to celebrate 60 years of the Royal Air Forces Association, Burnham-On-Sea and District branch.

Noel Furze, Laurie Lillycrop (Vice-President), Branch Chairman Wing Commander John Bryan (Rtd), and George Prowse (Bearing the standard) attended the official unveiling on Monday (September 4th).

The new plaque is sited on the sea wall near the top of Burnham’s jetty.

The occasion was also attended by Burnham and Highbridge Mayor Eric Gill and wife Gilly, along with town clerk Eileen Shaw.
