Burnham Rotary Club volunteers plant bulbs along Frank Foley Parkway

-

Grass verges along a busy Burnham-On-Sea road will be bursting into colour next Spring after hundreds of bulbs were planted by members of the town’s Rotary Club on Sunday (December 6th).

Volunteers from the group grabbed spades and shovels to bury the daffodil bulbs along the Frank Foley Parkway, as pictured here.

The bulbs were supplied by the district council, as reported here, and were among more than fifty 25kg sackfuls of daffodil bulbs given to parish councils and community groups across the district.

A litter pick was also carried out by the Rotary Club along nearby Queen’s Drive with several sackfuls of rubbish being taken away.
