Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club launches Christmas gifts appeal

-

Members of Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club have launched their annual Christmas gift appeal this week.

The club is encouraging shoppers at Highbridge’s Asda supermarket to donate gifts, toys and food to needy people in the area by placing them in a special collection box in the store.

“We are collecting gifts, toys and non-perishable foods at Asda and all the goods will be distributed to people within the community who need a little extra cheer this Christmas,” the club’s Jane Gibbs told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

She added: “We would like to express our sincere thanks to Asda, the Manager, staff and customers for their continuing support and generosity.”
