Burnham-On-Sea Rotarians spring into action with bulb planting

-

Roadsides in Burnham-On-Sea are set to burst into colour next Spring after hundreds of bulbs were planted on Sunday morning (December 4th).

Four huge sackfuls of daffodil bulbs were buried in the grass verges along the Frank Foley Parkway and Queen’s Drive by Burnham Rotary Club.

The group’s volunteers grabbed spades and shovels, as pictured here, and a litter clean-up was also carried out along Queen’s Drive. The bulbs have been supplied to the town by Sedgemoor District Council.
