An investigation has been launched after a man died following a fall from a roof in Highbridge on Friday (May 17th).
Two air ambulances, police and paramedics were called to a factory in Commerce Way at 11.45am, as pictured, after the man fell from a high roof.
He was air-lifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol with head injuries.
Police said on Monday that the man had sadly later died of his injuries.
A spokesman for the government’s Health and Safety Executive told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are aware of a fatal incident at a premises on the Walrow Industrial Estate in Highbridge on 17th May.”
“A joint investigation has been launched with Avon and Somerset Police and inquiries are continuing.”
