Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called to tackle a fire in the roof space of a house in Highbridge on Saturday (May 5th).
Crews from Burnham-On-Sea and Bridgwater were sent to Springfield Road, Highbridge just after 2.15pm, as pictured here.
“One fire appliance from Burnham-On-Sea, two from Bridgwater and the Water Carrier from Bridgwater were sent to a report of a fire in the roof space of a property,” said a fire spokesman.
“The fire was confined to the roof space and the roof was 10% damaged by fire with moderate smoke damage to the loft.”
“To deal with the incident crews used a hose reel, one safety jet, two triple extension ladders, two thermal image cameras, plus safety at height equipment and small tools.”
