Rob’s Fish Bar in Highbridge has donated funds to the town’s King Alfred Amateur Boxing Club to help it buy new equipment.
Kay and Rob, the owners of the popular chippy, have donated money and given a free meal to each of the club’s boxers and members.
Rob said: “We want to put something back into the community and, having discovered that King Alfred Amateur Boxing Club was formed over 20 years ago and still going strong, we wanted to help them.”
King Alfred Amateur Boxing Club is based at Unit 8, Premier Business Park, Huntspill Road in Highbridge, TA9 3DE.
