Burnham-On-Sea’s award-winning Pantomime Society is making final preparations to perform its annual family show, the classic Robinson Crusoe.
The show will open at Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre on Friday 19th January and runs until Saturday 27th January.
“The show includes boos, hisses, laughs, dancing, singing, cannibals, pirates, mermaids and many cheesy jokes!” the group’s Gavin Holman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Come join us for an enjoyable and lively evening with fun for all the family as Robinson, the adventure-seeking hero, and his love, Sally, embark on a quest for treasure along with his mother Mrs Crusoe, brother Billy and Sally’s father, the Captain.”
The group had its most successful year in its club’s 48-year history during 2017 for its production of Aladdin.
Burnham-On-Sea Pantomime Society won the ‘best panto in Somerset’ award at the prestigious Somerset Fellowship of Drama Cinderella Trophy Awards, competing against 30 different drama groups.
Tickets for this month’s show – costing £11 for adults, £9 for concessions and £7 for kids – are available from The Princess box office on 01278 784464 or online here. You can also buy a family ticket (2+2) for £30.
