Burnham-On-Sea police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a late night robbery in the town.
The incident occurred at about 10.50pm on Sunday August 23rd in Rectory Road.
“The woman victim was walking along the road when she was approached from behind and a digital camera and iPod were taken,” a police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“The suspect was 5ft 7ins tall, and was wearing a black hooded top, black tracksuit and black training shoes with white markings on the heel.”
Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the Rectory Road area at the time of the incident who may have information to help their enquiries. Anyone able to help is asked to contact Bridgwater CID on 0845 4567000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
