Motorists have been warned to expect delays from Monday (October 27th) when using the M5 motorway between Burnham-On-Sea and Weston.
Two months of barrier works are set to begin, leading to several lanes being closed.
A Highways Agency spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Preparatory work will take place from Monday 27th October until early November with various lane closures.”
“Narrow lanes will be in operation northbound and southbound from early November until late December 2014.”
