Road markings outside King Alfred School in Highbridge will be repainted next week following recent road resurfacing work, Somerset County Council has reassured local residents.
There has been concern expressed on social media during recent days that the council was not planning repaint the safety lines outside the school in Burnham Road, Highbridge.
It follows recent resurfacing work, prompting safety concerns.
However, a spokesman for Somerset County Council told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The line repainting at this location was delayed because of rain but is planned to be completed next week before the school goes back.”
