Free sea safety advisory checks on offer from Burnham-On-Sea RNLI

-

With the new sailing season approaching, boat owners in Burnham-On-Sea are being offered free sea safety advisory checks.

Burnham-On-Sea RNLI is offering the advice as part of its ongoing work to increase sea safety.

Among those using the service is Ian Chacon, an experienced local yachtsman, who last year set sail in his 30ft yacht from North Wales to Burnham-On-Sea and experienced electrical problems during the voyage but managed to overcome them. Ian intends to sail into and beyond EU waters this year so he is keen to seek the sea safety advice and ensure he has all the necessary equipment on board.

To arrange a confidential sea safety check on a yacht, contact Dave Humphrey on 01278 780261 or the RNLI at Poole on 0800 328 0600.
