Tickets on sale for lifeboat-themed play at Burnham-On-Sea theatre

-

Rehearsals are underway for a lifeboat-themed play called ‘Out of The Mist’ to be performed at Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre next month.

Members of the BOSH Youth Theatre and Princess Theatre Company, assisted by RNLI supporters, will bring the story to life.

The scenes will played out on the stage on Friday 7th November, starting at 6pm.

Featuring several local ‘celebrities’ in cameo roles, several of the scenes are being specially adapted locally by playwright Alan Tyson. The audience is being advised to prepare for a rollercoaster of emotion.

Burnham lifeboat spokesman Mike Lang said: “This is a terrific opportunity to see an original play about the RNLI story. Some of the scenes will make you laugh, and some are sad, but the situations are very real, being based on historic facts.”

Tickets will cost £10/£8 concessions/£5 child and are available from The Princess Theatre and the RNLI lifeboat shop in Pier Street with proceeds to the RNLI.
