Volunteers at Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat station will be holding their annual fundraising car wash on Saturday 26th January and Saturday 6th April.
Each car will be carefully soaped using professional car wash chemicals and cleaning materials, before being rinsed to achieve a perfect finish as part of the RNLI’s national fundraising event, called SOS Day.
Once again, weather permitting, Burnham RNLI volunteers are preparing to don their dry-suits for their popular ‘Soap Our Saloons’ wash on both days between 10am and 2pm. Money will collected by donation.
All over the UK, schools, businesses and families will be holding fundraising events along the RNLI’s SOS theme such as Sizzle our Sausages, Stars Or Stripes and Swap our Stuff.
