Nationwide bottle relay reaches Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat station

-

Members of the Round Table have delivered a huge ‘SOS’ message in a giant bottle to Burnham-On-Sea’s lifeboat station as part of a relay challenge that aims to cover all 235 RNLI lifeboat stations around the UK and Ireland.

The message inside calls on people to support the national RNLI charity and Round Table members will be fundraising along the way.

The giant bottle is being passed from station to station by Round Table members covering some 7,000 miles in 114 days.

Burnham Round Table President Nick Tolley said: “I was impressed by the attention to detail at the station, and am pleased to be a supporter.”
