RAF Search and Rescue Squadron Leader Hugh Pierce from RAF Chivenor in Devon will be the guest speaker at this year’s Burnham-On-Sea RNLI AGM.
The annual open meeting will take place on Friday 8th March at 7.30pm at Burnham Sailing Club when RNLI supporters and enthusiasts will be able to hear a summary of the year’s activities and be able to socialise with other supporters and volunteers.
During the meeting, Squadron Leader Hugh Pierce will also discuss the important work of the RAF’s Sea King helicopters, which are frequently involved in search and rescue operations along Somerset’s coastline.
