Over £600 has been raised at a charity’s annual summer fayre in Burnham-On-Sea.

The Kathleen Chambers RNIB home in Berrow Road held its popular fayre last week when crowds of visitors flocked to the event.

Activities included the U3A Ukelele band, cake stalls, cream teas, refreshments, bric a brac, a bottle stall, and a tombola. The event raised £662.

There was also a visit by Cllr Bill Hancock, Mayor of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge, who met some of the residents and staff.

Home Manager Steph Cahill said: “Out thanks go for all those who helped thisn successful well attended event. The amount raised goes towards our residents’ welfare.”
