Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Acoustic Club will play host to an exciting concert featuring renowned young folk duo Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts.
Doors will open at 8pm for the performance, which will be held this Thursday (April 18th) at the Ritz Social Club in Victoria Street, Burnham.
Twice nominated as Best Duo at the BBC Radio Folk Awards, they first met at Leeds College Of Music in 2006 and have since released three much-praised albums.
“With fiery fiddle and punchy guitar they deliver a winning mixture of folk, bluegrass and even rock, revealing fine songwriting abilities and a passion for powerful stories. Not to be missed,” Ritz Acoustic Club’s Dom Wills told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Tickets for the evening cost £4 and will be available on the door.
