Popular Australian folk band the Blue Mosquitoes will be playing in Burnham-On-Sea this Thursday (July 18th).
Doors will open at 8pm for the performance, which will be held at Burnham’s Ritz Acoustic Club in Victoria Street.
“Featuring the sweet voice and stunning violin of Hannah Foley, this talented Tasmanian 4-piece plays a twisted mixture of Irish, English and American trad with a distinct Aussie flavour,” Ritz Acoustic Club’s Dom Wills told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“They veer from dramatic ballads and self-penned tales of love and life on the street to jigs and reels of such energy and speed they almost career out of control.”
“When they played the RAC during their debut UK tour in July 2011 they received a series of standing ovations and were begged to return as soon as they could. This is that return.”
Tickets for the evening cost £4 and will be available on the door. All welcome.
