Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Acoustic Club will play host to popular New Folk Music singer Pamela Wyn Shannon next week.
A huge hit at last year’s FolkFest, Pamela will perform a night of music on Thursday April 21st.
Ritz Acoustic Club’s Dom Wills told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Pamela has a superb voice, expressive and sensitive, while her brilliant guitar-playing has been compared to that of Pentangle’s Bert Jansch.”
“Her music is deep, intricate and haunting, and her last album, ‘Courting Autumn’, was described by folk luminary Shirley Collins as ‘utterly lovely and sweetly poignant’. The Ritz Acoustic Club is thrilled to have her back.”
Doors open for the event at 8pm and tickets, which will be available on the door, cost £4 each.
