Remembrance services will be held in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge today (Sunday, November 14th) as residents pay tribute to the armed forces.
The Burnham branch of The Royal British Legion is holding a Remembrance Day ceremony at the town’s War Memorial outside Burnham hospital in Love Lane at 11am.
In Highbridge, a service will also take place at St John’s Church at 3pm to include a ceremony at the nearby war memorial.
Burnham’s Mayor and Mayoress Michael and Maria Clarke are expected to be among the civic dignitaries at both events.
