Red Nose Day was marked across the Burnham-On-Sea area with a day of colourful fundraising on Friday (March 15th).
Hundreds of local people of all ages got into a fundraising spirit to help the BBC’s Comic Relief.
Staff at Burnham Infants School painted 201 red noses on faces! “In return for a small donation the staff painted noses so all of the money could go to Comic Relief instead of the children purchasing plastic red noses,” said a spokesperson.
Brent Knoll School raised over £85 from s year 6 cake sale with over 150 bakes made for the day. The children also had red noses painted on their faces for a donation.
West Huntspill children also joined the fundraising fun, collecting lots of money for Comic Relief, as pictured here.
A successful fundraising cake sale was also held at The Princess Theatre in Burnham on Friday, as pictured below.
