A cannabis factory has been discovered by police during a raid on a home in a quiet area of Burnham-On-Sea.
Burnham-On-Sea fire crews helped police officers gain entry to a house during the raid in Rectory Road on Sunday afternoon (June 5th), as exclusively pictured here.
The front door of the home was smashed open to gain access, where a large quantity of cannabis and drugs-making equipment was discovered.
A ladder was also used by officers to access the first floor of the home.
Police officers were at the scene throughout Sunday and today (Monday) as their investigations got underway.
Fire crews were initially called to the home amid concern that a fire had broken out inside – but this proved incorrect.
The house is understood to have been vacant for several months since the previous occupiers moved out.
