This Range Rover was left badly damaged after a blaze on the M5 motorway at Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday afternoon (February 7th).
Two fire engines from Burnham-On-Sea rushed to the blazing vehicle on the hard shoulder of the southbound carriageway about half a mile from junction 22 just before 3pm.
“On arrival the crews confirmed that the vehicle was alight and got to work fighting the fire using compressed air foam,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“The fire was extinguished but the vehicle was considerably damaged. It is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault in the dashboard.”
The driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the vehicle without injury.
