Residents in Burnham-On-Sea have been warned to expect more heavy rainfall over the next three days.
The Met Office has issued a ‘yellow warning’ and predicted heavy, persistent rain will sweep across the area on Wednesday with further warnings in place for Thursday and Friday.
It says: “Further heavy showers are likely on Wednesday across much of Wales and the southern half of England.”
“Outbreaks of heavy rainfall are expected to cross southwestern areas of England and south Wales during Thursday.”
“The public should be aware that given ongoing near-saturated conditions, localised flooding may result as well as general difficult driving conditions.”
