Bristol City players to visit Burnham-On-Sea pub’s award ceremony

-

Two Bristol City footballers are due to visit a Burnham-On-Sea pub this evening (Thursday, October 22nd) to present an award to its owner.

It follows The Railway in the High Street being named one of the UK’s top skittling venues in a nationwide awards scheme.

The pub won the Blackthorn British Skittle Championships’ home alley of the year award in recognition of its facilities.

Two Bristol City players are due to visit the pub at 7pm to present owner Danny Pearce with the award.

He told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’re delighted to have beaten over 400 other pubs across the UK to this award.”

“Everyone is very welcome to come along to meet the Bristol City players and celebrate with us.”
