Colourful fashions of all shapes and sizes were on show on Friday (December 5th) when fun-loving pupils at Highbridge’s King Alfred School took part in their annual Rag Week.
A ‘wear what you want day’ was held on Friday, pictured here, when the students dressed up in a wide range of entertaining outfits.
A number of events have been held through the week to raise money for local charities with the aim of exceeding the previous totals of around £3,000.
One of the organisers, Sam Harkness, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It’s been a very busy week, full of fundraising activities.”
“There was a sponsored waxing session, water games, a chance to soak the head teacher with a water hose, a bush tucker trial and a football competition.”
This year’s charities are Clic Sargent, In Charlie’s Memory and Cots For Tots.
