Highbridge school students prepare for Rag Week fun

-

Sixth formers at Highbridge’s King Alfred School have been busily organising their annual Rag Week, which will take place between December 7th and 11th.

The students have chosen the three charities they are supporting this year as Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, BIBIC and Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Students will be running events in school to raise awareness of the charities and also holding a fancy dress walk.

“Events this year include a ‘crossbar challenge’, a rap concert at the BAY Centre and an old favourite ‘gunge the teacher’,” Jonathan Gaskell, Head of Sixth Form, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Students will walk in their fancy dress costumes through Highbridge and Burnham on Friday 11th December to collect money for the chosen charities.
