Members of a Burnham-On-Sea youth football team proudly unveiled their new kit on Tuesday evening (April 19th), which has been sponsored by the Royal Air Force.
As reported by Burnham-On-Sea.com earlier this month, the Burnbridge Wanderers Under 12s have made it through to the Woodspring League Cup Final on Sunday 1st May in Yatton where they will play Portishead Juniors from the division above them.
They have been celebrating the achievement with a new kit which has been supplied by the RAF as part of its community sponsorship initiative.
Chairman Paul Harding told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The club is extremely grateful to Sgt Ian Adams and the RAF for their support for the team and club.”
Paul added that the Under 12’s have had a great season after finishing fourth in the league and making it through to their first cup final. Excitement is now building in the run-up to the final.
Burnbridge Wanderers Junior Football Club was founded in 1999 and is run on a voluntary basis. It is affiliated to the Somerset Football Association and is an FA Charter Standard Club. BWJFC has 15 coaches who train age groups from under 6-16. All its coaches have child protection certification, first aid and FA coaching accreditation as a minimum.
