A fundraising quiz night will be held at a Burnham-On-Sea pub tonight (Tuesday, November 29th) to raise much-needed funds for a youth football team’s new kit.
Burnham United Under 7s are seeking £700 to buy a new team kit for when they join the Somerset Mini League next year.
“The children are excited about joining the new league but need help in raising enough funds for their new clothing,” fundraiser Andy Croker told Burnham-On-Sea.com. “We’re hoping the community will get behind us and help.”
The team’s quiz night will be held at the Pier Tavern in Pier Street, Burnham from 7.30pm. Entry will be £1 per person and groups are encouraged to take part.
