Dozens of quiz fans supported a fundraising event in aid of Burnham-On-Sea Hospital on Saturday night (February 9th).
Over 50 people attended a quiz night, organised by the Friends of Burnham Hospital, in Highbridge Community Hall.
Friends Vice Chairman Bernard Spilsbury – pictured with treasurer John Cooper and quiz master Chris Williams – said the event raised £220.
Bernard told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had 17 tables with up to four people in a team per table, so we were delighted with the turnout and thank everyone who came along to give us their support.”
John Bowden’s team, called The Day-Trippers, won the quiz and were presented with two bottles of white and two bottles of red wine at the end of the evening.
