A quad bike rider was taken to hospital with leg injuries after a crash in East Huntspill on Friday (September 27th).
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to New Road in the village shortly after 9am.
They found a quad bike being driven by a man in his 20s had left the road and ended up in a ditch.
Fire crews from Burnham and Glastonbury were sent the scene to help the man, who was injured but not trapped.
The firefighters worked with the ambulance crew to rescue the man and place him on a spinal board.
“The man was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton with leg injuries,” confirmed a spokesman.
