Property prices in Burnham-On-Sea have started to rise again, according to brand new figures out this week.
During the past three months, house prices in the town have risen by 2.67 per cent, the first signs of a possible recovery in the property market.
The figures show that the average price of a home in Burnham-On-Sea is now £4,487 more than at the start of the summer – as shown on the chart here.
However, over the period of a year, property prices are still down.
The average selling price of property is 11.7% lower than at this time in 2008.
And the prices are down by 17.5% compared to the same period in 2007, says property website Zoopla.
A spokesman for Burnham-based Abbott and Frost estate agents told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We have seen something of a recovery in the market that does not appear to be simply a seasonal lift. There has been new interest from buyers and sellers.”
