Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called out on Monday evening (July 25th) to a property blaze in village near the town.
The fire service received a call at 6.25pm reporting a fire in a home at Blackford, near Wedmore.
Three appliances from Cheddar, Burnham-On-Sea and Glastonbury attended the incident, and crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.
The fire was confined to the kitchen where there was 10% fire damage and 100% smoke damage.
